Face Painting is always Marina's favorite thing to do at a fair...it took a little coaxing to get Esaias to join in, but soon all of them had face paint...even Oslin. The lady doing the face paint was the best I have ever seen. She was amazing! And she kept raving about Marina's green eyes, and how beautiful my kids were.
Cookie Monster made his appearance on Esaias' face, and a baseball on Oslin to match his Boston Red Socks outfit. Yes, Esaias is wearing his fedora, but to him, it was his cowboy hat for the fair. Hehehe.
Why, yes, those are amazing green eyes!
Esaias loved all the animals! He kept asking to see more...it's hard to explain to him, that this is just the small county fair. He did just go to the zoo last week?!?! So, we had to spend a lot of time watching chickens to make him happy.
What's a fair without a pony ride! Isaac would've been way to big for this anyway.
After touring the animals, eating food & snow cones, and watching the wolf show, we went to the Grandstands for the exhibition by Defying Gravity, and then fireworks. Defy Gravity...that's Marina's gymnastics team, they also do parkour, silk and ring acrobatics, and horse stunts...Marina got to see all her coaches perform.
Sorry it's blurry, I didn't want to use flash as they were performing...but this was just a sample of all the amazing stuff they can do!
Danny & I went back on Wednesday evening to watch Collin Raye in concert without kids. It was a nice relaxing evening listening to some country music from the 90's. Best of all, always great to have time alone with my hubby!
