Christmas Morn'

The big kids had to wait for Esaias to wake up, but it was worth it when he did! The first time you experience Christmas through the eyes of a little one is sooo much fun...priceless!

There was just the right amount of treasures to open and find. Not too much and plenty to be thankful for. The smiles are the proof.

We did have to rush our morning just a bit as we had church to get to at 1:00pm. I thought we would have plenty of time, but we still ended up hurrying to be ready on time. As you can see we all looked wonderful, but getting Esaias to cooperate and take a picture...now that's another story!

This last picture is thrown in just for fun. If you saw any of Danny's pictures at Halloween, then you know the inside joke behind him getting sheet music for artists Lionel Richie and Richard Marx. We all got a good laugh.

T'was the night (or week) before Christmas...

and all were definitely not sleeping! Christmas at Grandpa and Grandma Mortensen's the week before was just a teaser for what we had in store.
This was not a Christmas present....funny it was one of his favorite things at Marisa's house Christmas Eve.
Grandma wants a "bling bling" hat for Christmas too!
Before....
After!
A little yoga can keep the stress away during the holidays!
Reading Christmas stories is a great way to feel the Christmas spirit.
What would Christmas Eve be without Grandma Layne's candy jar guessing game? I don't know but Kenny sure was happy when he learned he won the prize!
A little festive music for the evening.
Mickey's Christmas carols were right up Esaias' ally.
Christmas always brings out the crazy's. Just kidding...happy to see Annette & Phil & the boys!
Girl cousins waiting for Santa to arrive.
Kenny, do you know which Auntie your huggin'?
Bosom Buddies?
Vycci wanted to take pictures when everyone walked in the door, while we still looked good!
Hello Handsome! "woo woo" as Esais would say!
"Lalalalala Lilli" Saying her name sure is fun!
"Woo woo, isn't that what these bows are for?"

Don't we look like we are havin' a good time!
