Wanted to give a shout out today to all our grandparents that we love so dearly.
To Papa Joe & Grandma Chris,
We love the way you always like to spend time with us. Marina says, "Thanks for letting me eat lots of sweets." Isaac says, "Thanks for the game time, that's board games, golf, and computer games too."
To Papa Ken & Grandma Cindy,
Thanks for letting us stay at your house when we visit. It was fun to play at the park.
To Grandma Layne,
We love having sleep overs with lots of deserts and movies. We appreciate the "hanging out time with cousins." Isaac says he likes having "quality discussions...about movies, books..." Marina loves playing with the big dolls.
To Great Grandpa & Grandma Mortensen,
We appreciate and love New Years breakfasts with such great food and family we don't get to see at other times. Thanks Grandpa for teaching us how to make some fun food, and making jokes.
To Great Grandma Martin,
We miss seeing you all the time like the old days. We loved reading books, fishing, garage selling, and just plain spending time with you.
To all our grandparents that have passed on and live with Heavenly Father,
We can't wait to see you again. We are so grateful for the lives you lived, and the memories, lessons, genetics (Isaac wanted to include good looks), and stories that you've shared.
We are the people, we are today because of your influence and strength of character.
